I just heard about this from Mike Gifford who was at the 'Web of
Change' conference:
http://dev.civicactions.net/moin/DrupalGuild
Phillip was also there (anyone else?) and apparently decided it was
too interesting to share, but I saw Jason last night and thought I'd
try and liven to up this list.
Seriously though - it's another version of that holy grail of
collaboration across compatible organizations, and the one comment
posted from someone in the US (I think) is that it's been tried and
hasn't worked yet, so why would this one? I think that's a pretty
interesting question, and since we missed out on our monthly meeting,
how about a topic for next month like:
"failures, fears and foibles - reports from the shadows of collaboration"
the goal would not be to go away discouraged and stop talking to each
other, but to deal with the fact that there are experiences and
reasons why working together is hard.
For those of you determined to be upbeat, we could structure it as a
'lessons-learned' kind of thing, where we try and extract useful
lessons from our experiences, but I think it could be kind of fun and
cathartic if you're not too didactic about it (e.g. the Darwin awards)
