Hello my name is Tom and I hate computers...

oops this isn't the computer crash recovery site?

The letter D for today is Durie. He owned a very large track of land  
that is partly known today as Bloor West Village and the Junction. The  
street I live on is named for him.

Why Durpal for me? A meetup group called 'variously' Web Centric made  
me look into this project.

I have a wandering, seemingly going nowhere internet business and  
finally got a serious server and location. For too many years I lived  
on a wing and a prayer to the internet gods and hope that a friend  
would continue to get me through my measly attempt to have an internet  
business.

Well, being a little short of being humble, and having decided that  
I'm just not a computer genius, and well, for my major projects to  
select a system that is tested and true I have begun my search into  
Drupal.

One of my first projects is for my church. All the ducks are in line;  
domain space, hosting environment, plans and committees (churches have  
soooo mamy committees) we are on the verge of something.

The overwhelming mandate that I have stated to my church folk is that  
I will not manage the site. I will set it up, teach everyone that will  
be apart of the process: but I will not be the programer at large.

I am hoping that the Drupal community at large will assist me with my  
endeavor.
