Wow - talk about startling things to see on the list... I'm the person
who designed their site. :-(

I haven't actually heard from this client in some time, but now I'm
wondering if I may have missed some messages. I've had a certain amount
of upheaval in my person life over the past while (breakup of my
marriage among other things), so I'm sure I haven't been as on top of
things as I'd like to be.

Anyway, I've dropped them a line apologizing and letting them know t hat
I am still around and available, but that if they'd prefer to go with
someone else I'll be happy to assist that person with any info they may
need. Obviously I'm hoping I can patch things up with the client, but if
they do decide to drop me and one of you picks it up, please feel free
to contact me for any background on the project or other information you
might need.

I realize that publicly admitting to being the designer they feel has
abandoned them may not be a great move PR-wise, but having been on the
other side of this fence sometimes with clients coming to me because
they weren't happy with or couldn't get a response from someone else, I
know that in that situation I'd prefer to know that the original
designer was around and could be contacted with any questions (and
wasn't going to make it into some kind of territorial pissing contest),
so I thought I'd let that be known. Besides, my company name's on the
site, so it's not like people wouldn't know anyway... :-/
