[DUG-TO] Moving nights and 2009 meetups

Hey group,

Sounds like last night's meeting was great - sorry I missed it! (again).

On that note, I will be unable to make Thursday night meetings (of any  
sort) for the foreseeable future so I would like to revisit moving the  
monthly meetup to the 2nd Tuesday (putting the next meetup on Feb  
10th). For those of you who have been around for a while will recall  
originally we met on Tuesday nights...

Unless someone has a strong objection (like, will become a Joomla  
user) to moving to Tuesday - can we consider it done? I remember lots  
of "Tuesday" votes last time around.

Also, some folks have rightly pointed out that announcements have not  
been timely. Sacha Chua has offered to help with organization - but  
the biggest thing is topics! If there are topics you'd like to see  
covered and *especially* if there are things you'd like to talk  
about : speak up! Don't worry if you're not a frequent public speaker,  
it's a gentle crowd :-)

Finally, while CSI is a lovely and gracious home - the locked front  
door after hours continues to keep people away. If anyone knows of a  
venue that can hold 30-50 people comfortably, with wifi & a projector  
(and beer? and ponies?) we can look at moving places as well.
