[DUG-TO] Looking for a Drupal developer for a small 4.7 social network that needs rebuilding on 6

Hi,

I met some of you at the Toronto Drupal Users Group meeting on Thursday
and really enjoyed meeting everyone and got a lot out of the
presentation and discussion. I've already approached a couple of you but
also want to extend the proposal to those who were not able to attend.

I have a site that was built by my developer on 4.7 (plus a lot of
custom code). The site is for a subscription community to share their
daily practice around character trait refinement using a Jewish approach
called Mussar. Everything on the site works and it was ready to launch
except that my developer was unable to get a subscription module
working. I had a second developer try their hand and they failed also.

So, I need two things:

1.	Someone to get the current site working with some work-around
solution to have people register (through PayPal) and have the process
generate a Drupal account for them. I have an idea based on the
presentation this week at the meeting that involves multi-site Drupal
instances that share user data. Build the subscription piece in Drupal 5
using UberCart and then have that share user data with the existing 4.7
site. Not sure if that will work . . . but that's the thought
2.	Rebuild the whole site using Drupal 6 and UberCart

I'm looking for a long term partnership in what is starting out as a
small pet project, but hopefully will be of great value to 1,000+
members over time. The costs for this are all coming out of my pocket so
1) I'm already deep in debt for having the current project fail, 2) I
need to pay for the Drupal 6 rebuild out of subscriptions and 3) this
may or may not grow BIG - I'm trusting it will.

That being said, it's a cool site and a cool project and so if you have
the interest on the developer side and also the curiosity about
exploring character traits then this might be a great match for you.

Please contact me ASAP since I need to start working with a new
developer quickly. I can set you up with a user account and step you
through the site if it looks like we have a potential match.

Thanks,

Modya
