[DUG-TO] 2010 Toronto Conference - New topic/Idea

This sounds more like a DrupalCon proposal. I don't follow the Drupal
Association discussions about DrupalCon 2010 and beyond, does anybody
on this list? Not too long ago they were considering "outsourcing"
the organization of DrupalCon (probably to O'Reilly) at some point in
the future, but after the huge success of DrupalCon DC, organized by
"the drupal community" (i.e. mainly Development Seed, a drupal shop
based in DC) that idea may have been placed on the back burner.

Of course the goals and format of DrupalCon and DrupalCamp are quite
different, and so is the format. Maybe there's room for something in
between, like a national or regional conference. But either way, it
seems like a separate discussion from DrupalCamp, as you well
indicated Bruce.

Kevin

ps. People won't come to a Drupal conference that has a Joomla
website ;-)
