-----------------------------------

A large non-profit in Toronto is looking for a Drupal developer with
system administration/configuration experience to assist with the
installation and configuration of a new Drupal 6 website on an
existing dedicated virtual server.

Developer will also assist with database configuration; module
selection, customization, and implementation; theming (working with an
in-house designer), and overall back-end design.

The website is for a major upcoming event, and scheduled go-live date
is May 18, 2009.

Website will include:
- Background information about the event
- An easy to update event schedule
- Basic integration (display only) with Flickr and YouTube
- Implementation of site blogs (with author permissions)
- A site news feed (including RSS)
- Workflow (to allow authors to post news content)
- Other text-based information, likely requiring custom content types
- Custom look/feel with themes and CSS
- Most content and all navigation will be in both English and French
(requires i18n/internationalization experience)

This non profit strives to develop standards-complaint, accessible
websites and the developer should have a commitment to implementing
sites of this nature.

Position will be paid by the hour (amount negotiable), via monthly
invoices.  Development work is to begin approx. March 30, 2009 and is
expected to last 4-6 weeks.  Number of hours may vary between full
time and part time throughout the project.

Interested parties should send their resume to Bill Gillard at
uccgco1 at gmail.com with “Drupal Developer” in the subject line by 12:00
noon (EST) March 25, 2009.  Include links to at least two Drupal sites
you have setup, with client references.  Also include your hourly
non-profit billing rate for this type of project.

Inquiries and proposals from development agencies/companies welcomed.
