thanks Joe, it looks interesting:
1. I can't believe that zend is sending newsletters using an .asp
application ...
2. the most interesting result is the 26x speed up using zend page cache
with Pressflow.
3. If you want that kind of result without zend, then I'd guess Varnish with
pressflow would be equal or better.
4. it seems to confirm that for non-anonymous sites, there's not much you
can do to speed things up except move static content out of the apache stack
and reduce the mysql cost of the page load.
5. speed optimization is related to but not always the same as scalability
...
