[DUG-TO] laptop recommends

I'm shopping for a new laptop & saw a few good ones. Has anyone bought an
ASUS? I never heard of one but there's a great machine on sale. Also looking
at Dell & HP. I'm disappointed with my Acer, but my old IBM was great. I
need a high end one for video editing. Looking at an Intel i7-720 quad core.
