I'm helping out with this year's SF DrupalCon. It is going to be very exciting. We can now confirm based on registrations that it will be the biggest yet.

Voting on sessions is going to close VERY SOON, so vote now on your faves to make sure they get in.

The Deal secured with Parc 55 will expire I believe on the 16th.
Also please note that WiFi is not normally free there (actually a lot more hotels here that charge extra for that than you'd think, so ask) but is part of the package.

Rates there are admittedly high, though. I have stayed here before and it was pleasant:

They often have online booking deals.

If you can fly from across the border, you'll save big.
SFO<->NYC roundtrip tickets can amazingly be found for $250 and the occasional sub-$200 deal.
Check both expedia.com and .ca as the prices will differ; .ca is cheaper right now.

I look forward to seeing you all in my new 'hood.

Please let me know on or off list if there is anything I can do to facilitate your attendance.

It turned out that the price to stay at Parc 55 through the drupalcon deal was more than buying the airline ticket plus hotel combined (I saw similar pricing through Expedia and Hotwire) so those may be good options to look at (on Expedia, I see a deal for Hyatt Regency for 994 for April 17 - 22 plus flight.
