I will be at The Mosser Hotel. The rooms are very tiny, but combined with an
air ticket from Toronto to San Francisco and a 7 night stay, it is less than
$1,000
total taxes in when booked from expedia.ca. Nominal rate is $68 per night.
Much less with the expedia combined discount though. Continental breakfast
is said to be included.
Wireless internet is extra. They want $10 a day for it, or $20 a month for a
1 year contract (gotta love AT&T), with a $20 cancellation fee. So comes to
$40 for
7 days.
It is about 0.3 miles (500 meters) north from Moscone, so pretty close.
The Courtyard by Marriott is 0.6 miles to the east. A tad more costly ($150
more) than The Mosser, but more walking (1 km). More spacious room.
Fridge, Coffee, and has wired internet free. I have stayed at other
Courtyard
locations (Boston) and it is pretty good.
